You may have already noticed that all of our websites come with a built in autoresponder/newsletter feature. You can use this to build an email list of people and potential customers that are interested in what you have to say.
The best thing about this feature is that it is built right into your website and you do not have to purchase a third party autoresponder subscription or software. It can also be controlled from right within your website’s dashboard. Here is a short tutorial on how to use all of it’s features.
First you need to log into your website’s dashboard/wp-admin, and then click on “ARGWA Free” on the left hand menu. On this page you are able to control all of the features of your autoresponder. You can see who has subscribed to your email list, send them instant emails and also set up a sequence of emails that will be automatically sent out over a number of days/weeks.
You will be presented with a number of boxes for your newsletter options. You may need to click on the right side of these boxes to reveal your options.
Your first box contains some basic information about your newsletter such as your newsletter name, and the email address that you want displayed when sending your emails. It will look like this:
You can use the second box to write your emails. You have the option to write an email to be sent out at a later date, or you can send an instant email to all those on your subscriber list. If you choose to send out your email at a later date you will see it displayed here. Here is a sneak peek at these options:
Your third options box will contain a list of all the people who have subscribed to your newsletter. You will be able to see both their names and email address’ as well as having the option to import leads, export leads and delete them from your email list.
The next box contains the code for your newsletter sign up form. You do not need to do anything with this option as it has already been hand coded into the theme of your website for you convenience.
The remaining 5 option boxes allow you to configure and edit the confirmation message your subscribers will see when they subscribe to your newsletter, the “unsubscribe” page and message they see if they choose to unsubscribe to your newsletter, and the error message. Here’s a little image of what these options look like:
When you have configured all the settings on this page and added your autoresponder/newsletter emails don’t forget to click on “Save Global Options” at the bottom of the screen.
